Established in 1952, the Faculty of Business Administration is one of 10 faculties located at UNB's campus in Fredericton, New Brunswick. It is the flagship supplier of management education programs by the University. It has the largest undergraduate and graduate business student enrollments in New Brunswick and it offers an extensive array of business programs and options. The current Dean is Dr. Robert Austin who became the head of the business school in 2011.
The Faculty of Business Administration (FBA) delivers programs leading to Bachelor of Business Administration, Honours Bachelor of Business Administration, Master of Business Administration, MBA in Sports and Recreation Management, MBA-LLB, and MBA-Engineering degrees. Admission requires approval by the Admissions officers on the Fredericton campus. There are no relationships with any programs offered on another campus. The Faculty of Business Administration also supplies its Bachelor of Business Administration program in Trinidad. The MBA program is delivered in Kiev, Ukraine.

The UNB BBA program is a internationally-renowned undergraduate business degree program. The program is professionally oriented and combines studies in business disciplines with studies in the Social Sciences, Humanities and Mathematics. The program's first two years provide a foundation of business theory, while the third and fourth years are designed to allow student to concentrate on one particular area of business. The program offers a wide concentrations, including: Accounting, Aviation and Operations Management, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Human Resources Management, International Business, and Marketing,
The UNB Honours BBA program has the same overall structure as the regular BBA program but allows superior candidates to major in a business specialty. Students must apply for entry to the Honours stream at the conclusion of their second year of studies. They must achieve a specified GPA and must achieve designated grade levels on relevant required courses taken during the first two years of studies. Individuals approved for the Honours stream may take majors in Accounting, Finance, Finance and Economics, Human Resources Management, or Marketing. They may also take the concentrations available in the regular BBA program.
The UNB MBA program is a two year, full-time program starting each September at UNB's campus in Fredericton, New Brunswick. It offers a wide range of professional development opportunities, appealing to both recent graduates from across Canada and around the world. The MBA program is designed to develop exceptional leaders and to provide talented individuals the opportunity to obtain an advanced professional business education that will enable them to realize their full potential and career goals. Recent revisions to the MBA curriculum will allow the pursuit of concentrations in aspects of business. Beginning in 2009, the MBA program offers a concentration in Entrepreneurship.
The UNB MBASR program is specifically designed to assist students in the assimilation of advanced knowledge in sports and related aspects of recreation. The program provides a strong academic grounding that will support and encourage the expansion of knowledge for both the individual and the profession over the long term.

The UNB MBAEng program is specifically designed to assist professional engineers who expect to move into management positions as part of the career development. It is an accelerated full-time program, which entails studies across one year. The curriculum provides a grounding in business disciplines and relevant studies in engineering.
The UNB-LLB degree option allows students to receive concurrently the Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Law degrees in four years. The Joint Degree Program is open to individuals who may not have a business degree, although students with a business degree may be given advanced standing towards meeting the MBA requirements. Applicants must apply and be accepted to each program separately. The eligibility requirements and selection procedures for an applicant intending to complete the Joint Degree Program are the same as for any applicant to the LLB or MBA degree program. While an undergraduate degree is normally required for admission to the MBA program, completion of the first year of the LLB program coupled with three years of post secondary education may be considered equivalent to an undergraduate degree for purposes of admission.
Ethel Singer Hall houses UNB's Faculty of Business Administration. It was opened in 1987. Singer Hall is primarily used for Faculty offices, including the central office and the members of the management team. It contains four lecture halls for undergraduate students (BBA & MBA), and a number of rooms for seminars and group study. There is also a student lounge and computer commons specifically for graduate business students.
The Student Investment Fund was the first student-managed fund in Atlantic Canada and is unique in North America. The SIF program provides candidates with real-life experience in investments and money management. it has a market neutral equity portfolio construction approach combined with an embedded study program for the Chartered Financial Analyst Level I exam. Students in the program began investing real money in the capital markets in 1998 with the allocation of $1 million from program partner the New Brunswick Investment Management Corporation. By the end of 2008, despite market volatility and recession, the Fund was worth more than $2 million, derived solely from investment returns. Participating students have a long and distinguished record of success at investment competitions. A team of students from the program placed first in the 2008 Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Institute’s North American valuation competition in New York City and, was subsequently ranked second in the world in the Institute’s Global Investment Research competition in May 2008.
UNB Business students enjoy a vibrant number of options to get involved outside of the classroom. With student associations at both the graduate and undergraduate level, students can apply many of the theories and techniques learned in the classroom in the real world.
